One of the best pros is that locals will have to spend less to see bigger names, they wont have to catch a plane and close hotels, its not gonna be just cheaper but easier too!
Nothing can be just good so lets learn the cons. The cons will seem way worse but they are not. When big artists take over smaller artists are being burried, smaller local artists will gain less attentiom because of the big names, that is actually sad but it can be balanced. One thing that cant be ballanced is higher expectations from audiences, they might start expecting huge concerts and huge events, which can make local events a bit less exciting for them even though same effort was added. One of the worst things big productions raise the avarage tickect cost, making it harder for affordable event bramds to compete.
